The Argia collective at Rencontres d'Arles 2026

In early July, some members of the Argia collective travelled to the Rencontres d'Arles 2026, the major international photography event.

Among the highlights were the magnificent Alain Keler retrospective (MYOP agency), who signed his book for the collective, and a long conversation with Éric Bouvet about his series Hexagone. It was also the chance to confirm his presence as guest of honour at the Three Crowns Festival in April 2027. The collective also came home with some beautiful books (Harry Gruyaert, Alain Keler, Julien Rocheblave, Bernard Soria) and memories of happy reunions between photographers.

The trip was also an opportunity to meet the management of the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie (MPP), which agreed to become a partner of the collective: a wonderful recognition for Argia.

Thank you to the organisers and the artists for their welcome, and we look forward to seeing you again very soon!
